Building thoughtful systems for the people who depend on them.
About Me
Senior Software Engineer. Navy civilian. Builder of AI systems.
I'm Mason Locke Meredith. I work in R&D Decision Intelligence at the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic, building AI/ML systems at its Multidisciplinary Research Center — including FRIDAY, a drone-swarm intelligence project presented at the 2026 Naval Applications of Machine Learning workshop. I came up the NAVWAR career ladder over six years, from Junior Scientist to Technical Project Lead. Along the way I earned a Master of Computer Applications from Vanderbilt (ranked the #1 U.S. master's program by Fortune the year I graduated), a graduate cybersecurity certificate from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a B.S. in Computer Science & Mathematics from LSU — all while working full-time.
On nights and weekends I build AI-driven applications: a personal-finance planner with a custom excess calculation engine, a short-form video factory that ships daily across YouTube, TikTok, and X, and an autonomous coding-agent fleet that builds projects overnight across three machines. I'm most comfortable in Python and SQL, with a strong bias toward backend, data, and agentic systems.
I'm a Louisiana boy raised in a family business, so I bring a service mindset and a Christian work ethic to everything I touch. I care about the people who use what I build — and I genuinely love this work.
